I sign this petition to advocate that finances will be directed toward supporting the Lanterman Act and Regional Centers for the purposes of community based services for the developmentally disabled.

One of the purposes of government is to protect and help those people who are unable to make it on their own. Disabled and special needs citizens are the most vulnerable. They can't help themselves. Please keep these vital funds where they belong . . . helping those with special needs.
Thank you!

It is critical that the Lanterman Act and regional centers stay to help so many people stay helpful and function in our country. Please vote to keep these programs.

The funding for Regional Centers is scarce enough. Closing development centers will increase the demand for Regional Center services. The savings from the closure must follow those served.

Please have the monies for this program stay for people with Intellectual disabilities. I have several Adult residential facilities and the cost of living is raising every year as we need this funding for those costs. We have not had a decent raise in pay in over 15 years. Thank you.

This is very important, not only to our family, but all of the constituents who rely on these much needed services. Thank you for your interest in helping these individuals.

This is very important to me as a parent to a child with Down Syndrome. She deserves every chance to succeed.

Do not balance budget shortfalls on the backs of our state's most vulnerable population, our disabled. Any cost savings realized by making services more "community based" by closing out centers MUST be kept earmarked for the disabled! To repurpose it would be criminal!

Please do not take or cut these much needed services. They need all of our help and there is very little help already. Please, please don't take away their benefits.

Our developmentally disabled citizens desperately need for these centers and any other helpful resources to survive and live in the community. They are not third class citizens.
