Year after year the Haven Wildcats volleyball team has gotten a new coach, In fact the past season was coach number three, and the Haven team would like your help in supporting coach Tamara Heitschmidt in the upcoming year. The team would like to see coach Tam come back next year and continue in helping us meet our goals. Coach Tam has the experience and passion that we believe we need in the Haven volleyball program. Looking forward to next year, the season won't be the same without Tamara's passion for our schools team. She has said over and over during practice that we are a family, we practice like a family, win as a family, and lose as a family; we do it all for each other. So, we would like to ask for your help in supporting our family and bringing coach Tamara Heitschmidt back.

I had a different coach all four years of my high school career. Each year we would have to start over, and it was so frustrating. These younger girls deserve better. I believe Coach Tam is one of the best things that has ever happened to Haven. She's a hard working, genuine coach that deserves to be here.
Coach tam has made my daughter love volleyball. She has never had this much fun playing a sport before and she adores her coach. She teaches the game and how to play it the right way. I believe she isn't just a coach on the court for these girls but also in life.
I have known Tamara since high school. She was a sweet and kind girl then and has grown up into a wonderful lady. I hope that she will have he opportunity to continue to coach at Haven for years to come and create the family atmosphere Beth Coleman once had.
My daughter has had a different coach every year of her high school career. I ask that anyone involved in hiring Coach Tam, please re-evaluate the reason why. Is is worth letting the next set of Seniors " have yet another coach"? Coach Tam was detrimental in My daughter going onto play volleyball in college. I have complete faith that Coach Tam is exactly what Haven needs!
Coach Tam has had a huge impact on my life. She has fought for me with no reservations, and has been there for me in ways that exceed her requirement as a coach. Her passion and love for our team have an will continue to carry us to success if she were to be allowed to stay.
Many people want something. Wish for something. The fact that a group of young men and women took the steps to make a change says so much about the student at Haven High School . This petition means so much to me. I learned as much from you all during my time there as you say you learned from me. I know my players that are coming up are warriors. You ladies will make the best of the situation next year and become stronger than you ever thought. Proud of you all. Love Coach Tam

I am a male, so I obviously didn't play volleyball, but I could see Coach Tam's care for the team. She pushed them to be the best they could be on the court AND off the court. She also did a great job of interacting with other students who don't play to get them in the student section.
