Support choice of feeding tube connectors to meet the needs of a diverse population

No private companies have the right to encourage government regulations onto the public for the purpose of company profits and exclusion of competition in the free market!

Stop this blatant attempt at controlling feeding devices, and usable nutrition.

Big money always make big mistakes. Make the right decision for the good of the people that use your product for a change instead of seeing only the money side of it.

Stop abuse and mistreatment of patients by corporations.

Government is already in our lives to much.

I support the right of consumers and market providers to have choices available to them. Do not monopolize health care to corporate interests!

Single providers are never good

Give the people who use feeding tubes a choice.

Give people a choice. Its nit about the convenience of the hospital workers or the bottom line if bug corporations who can the foods. Its about the patients and their right to healthy food entering their body.

A larger diameter feeding tube would also be easier to keep clean via flushing with water and less infections means less hospitalizations!

My girlfriend grandpa has been a person with a feeding tube for over a year and it has change the way we all think about how much we do have the option for solid food and now it’s time for the people who don’t have that option to be heard

Doing this for all the feeding tubes people out there! I take care of my 90 year old grandpa who is on g tube! You all so amazing and strong women and men out there!! Xoxo

Please make the adjustments necessary for feeding blended foods AND also put a better nutritionally balanced premade formula out there for use.

Please do not pass this! It will impact us tubies greatly!

I have been tube feeding for 2 1/2 years now, using an 18-inch, 24-French “dangler” tube. My routine consists of thrice daily 30-minute gravity feedings using formula. This routine is comfortable for me and fits my lifestyle. I have had zero issues with infections or serious discomfort. Why, then, should I be forced to change to a system that will (a) increase my time spent in an already unpleasant task, (b) subject me to a potentially higher risk of infection and (c) foreclose my option to transition one day to blenderized alternatives. There is no place for government in this controversy, other than to ensure the safety of all available choices, both in manufacture and in usage practices. The marketplace should pick the winners and losers. We are not well-served when government assumes this role. Let ENFit earn its way to de facto standard status – if it can - in fair competition with the alternatives.

As a mother of many medically fragile children- please get rid of the EnGit connectors. Medications leaking is one problem. But blenderized foods will not go down, making my child have to drink the little box of chemical formula only.
