The commercial made formulas are not sufficient for everyone's needs. Tube feeders need real food also. The enfit prevents that

I was one of the 1st forced into having to use enfit and since then my life has been a living hell bacterial infection one after another 26 to be exact.

I believe it should be the choice of the person or family .I being a tube fed person think it should be left alone.

I am definitely in support of keeping options available for those who tube feed. Forcing a change to the new ENFit connectors would cause huge problems for my spouse, who is no longer able to eat by mouth due to long-term side effects from treatment for cancer of the tongue ten years ago. Please listen to the people whose lives would be drastically altered in ways that could be life threatening if they are forced to use a new system that would make it almost impossible to maintain good nutrition with REAL food (not formula). (He has already said if he had to exist on formula he would rather just starve to death because it makes him so sick.) This is serious business! Listen to him and countless others who feel very strongly about this issue of choice. They already have had so many choices taken away from them. Don't mess with what is working for them!!
