Tom and his family are one of the most honorable people you will meet and have done nothing but support this country for many years. He has taught many Respect, Honor, Trust, Loyalty, Patriotism.... He followed the code of ethics while serving our country and has passed that along to his students. This assault on him is unwarranted and completely twisted by the media. Don't dishonor an honorable man,

For two years I saw this man perform his duties with nothing but respect for his cadets and family. I get frustrated with people taking things out of context.

Chief Frost is a good person. His words were taken out of context. Please believe that he is a respectful and caring individual.

Chief Frost is a good and fair man unfortunately being slammed for good intentions but Social media is not the suitable place to discuss critical subjects such as Societal Harmony. It needs to be addressed in open discussions where it can be fully articulated for clear intent and understanding .

I must say that I have known Mr. Frost for over 50 years and I have never known him to be a racist in any way whatsoever. He treats everybody the same and he's a good guy. I'm wishing for the best for him during this unfounded situation. God bless!!

It was obvious his question was rhetorical and designed to inspire witnesses to come forward to provide justice for the family. I personally know the Chief and can credit him for embracing diversity in the Navy. This has turned into something about him instead of justice for the victim

I have witnessed first hand the positive influence that MMC Frost has had on the children at Ashley High School. Having participated in countless learning evolutions with him and watching the students interact with MMC Frost I have witnessed firsthand his positive influence and hear nothing but praise from the kids. MMC Frost's influence in my own life has led to my promotion and has made me a better Sailor. The accusations made against MMC Frost are completely baseless and do not represent his character in the slightest.

We have known Chief Frost for more than ten years. He has always been an example for others in the military and in the community. Since becoming an NJROTC instructor, he has inspired his students to be the best that they can be in the program and beyond. Some of his students have been accepted into the Naval Aviation Flight Academy and these students and their parents, have the highest regard and praise for Chief Frost's work with the NJROTC program at the high school. One of the biggest mistakes the school district could make would be to lose Chief Frost -- a huge loss for the school and it's program.

Chief Frost is an amazing instructor. I am a 2016 graduate of Eugene Ashley high and I was in the ROTC program for 4 years. I have known Chief for 4 years as well and he has taught many things. He has pushed me through school to get my work done and kept me motivated. I hope whomever this may concern that you will take notice to how great he is as well.

My understanding is that Chief Frost was referring to the people who were refusing to care enough to talk to police about what they witnessed when an innocent man was gunned down. That certainly does not indicate racism!

The character and integrity of Chief Tom Frost are examples for all of us to follow. His life was dedicated first to his country and now to his students. His students have been fortunate to have him as their leader and avid supporter .We need more like Tom Frost in this world!

This world needs to stop taking everything out of context and separating everyone. This is not teaching the children of tomorrow good habits.

I have know Tom Frost and his family for over 12 years. He has always put others before himself and working with the ROTC youth was one of his proudest moments. He has been able to transition from his military career to being an ROTC with ease, and his students benefit from his leadership. Tom. We fully support and endorse his character and compassion with his students

As a fellow SNCO and Military Retiree, I do not believe that Chief Frost is a racist and have never seen him exhibit any form of racism. This suspension show absolutely how politically correct our system has become today and for a news organization that is suppose to be reporting the truth, yet instead decide to crucify a man who has given so much through a 20+ year career and then deciding to follow his career and works towards developing future leaders for service in our country's military shows me a man of true character. The way I see this is that it is, it's okay for Colin Kapernick and others to disgrace the national anthem by not standing, while a local news outlet turns around and slants a story in a way just so they can achieve their own bottom line. I stand with Chief Frost and I believe that the news agency owes him and his family an apology for all the hardship they've put them through.
