Please help us stand behind our city, as a proud resident that promotes humane treatment of animals. In so many ways Charleston demonstrates to many cities across the country how to bring harmony and peace to challenging situations. Let this be another one of those ways, by showing compassion and caring for these animals.

We are asking for support of the reasonable accommodations citied in this Post & Courier article. The changes include a 90 degree heat limit and weight limits, which are not invasive to any of us as residents. Furthermore, supporting this article diminishes no one's business, and goes a long way in improving conditions for the animals.
