Support Charities and Live Music in Silvis at The Docs Inn.

I live near by and never has it ever been a problem or too much noise. I think it's great!

We love the shows at Doc's and they are a great addition to Silvis.

I am from East Moline. However, I support several events that are hosted at doc's inn support of United Township athletics and the booster club. including an event that I'm involved in. Prior to doc's opening, we've had to host our event outside of the school district. Doc's Inn supports the immediate local community as much or more than any business I'm aware of. These events are important to the community.

Silvis needs Docs! Great food, great atmosphere, Great place to see old friends. Dont send them away!

Keep live music alive in Silvis! If you don't those dollars go to Iowa.

The Docs Inn brings in a lot of revenue to Silvis and many of his events support a charity. Why should a few old crabs ruin a good thing?

Don't shut down events that bring money into the community. Lend your support instead.

I am a close resident to the Doc's Inn. I would understand the need to eliminate or restrict the outdoor events if this was something that happened on a weekly or monthly basis, however, the frequency of the outdoor events are so seldom it doesn't seem like a valid response to eliminate them all together. John is a local man and has local roots. He uses the influence of his business to not only bring light and activity to this city, but he is also very active and supportive of several local charities. Why the Mayor of Silvis would want to restrict or punish such a positive influence on our city is just shameful!

Docs Inn IS a HUGE part of the Silvis community and this is how the mayor treats this great business. They have done so much for others just call and ask each organization or individual that they have helped. Thanks John for what you have done for me and the family

I grew up in Silvis all my life. We had the Country Music Fest and everyone loved it. Also, Silvis is the city of Progress! Really? Mr Mayor city of Progress? Docs Inn is bring so much to the city and money to the city. Bring people from all over to the city of Silvis. Other companies need other people to come and go to thei business. Do you not see that? You are ruining a good thing here. I do not see a re election in your future. Keep it going Docs. You gave my vote!

bad decision on the part of the city of Silvis . A business that gives back to the community and wants to expand there footprint to accommodate more customers and events . Shame on you Silvis for poor judgement and blind reckoning of the issue . Anyone the lives nears Doc's has probably entered the establishment . As well attended a function there . No matter where a person lives there are things you have to accept in your neighborhood .

The city has a great restaurant, and it needs to continue being a successful business for Silvis.

Keep money and fun in Silvis! People will just go to other towns!
