As the Bill stands, even after Government concessions, a futureGovernment ,as a result of this Bill would be able to stifle opposition to an unpopular measure introduced in Parliament in the the year before an election.

It is a dangerous step forward when prganisations or people cannot express opinions . We have lost so many freedoms in the UK we must not lose the right to lobby.

The proposals as they stand would help further to concentrate power in a small class of professional politicians and their advisers and do virtually nothing to curb lobbying and the buying of influence by commercial organisations and rich people who wish to have a disproportionate influence on our plolitics

Charities as well any individuals must be free to comment upon any proposals made by Government at anytime. Any restriction is a weakening of our democracy and must be resisted
