I believe that there should be no changes to the Lobbing Bill which would restrict in any way an individual's or a Chrity's right to present their position to Parliament regarding issues affecting the natrural world.

The Lobbying Bill, unamended, would be a restraint on democracy, and Lord Harries' amendments should be accepted.

I belong to Devon Wildlife Trust, in the expectation it will be able to speak for me ~ not just a lone voice but the voice of many.

I am past chairman of local Council of Voluntary Service andfeel the bill would inhibit properrepresentation of our over 100 affiliated bodies.

This Bill has been badly drafted without thought to the consequences should it become law.

Campaign groups, such as my local Devon Wildlife Trust. need to be able to contribute and speak out on behalf of ordinary people like me.
