I support Lord Harries'amendments to the bill

It's important to stand up and be counted to protect those that need a voice

A threat to democracy

We must continue to shout out for those unable to speak for themselves who are also members of our society

what possible reason is there for implementing this bill

Can't silence me.

My wife and I deplore this threat to demnocracy

Please understand the implications and either stop the Bill entirely or accept the amendments proposed by Lord Harries

We must certainly have freedom of speech

Freedom of speach is vital for our democracy.

Freedom of speech is more important now than ever, with all the crises facing the planet and democracy under increasing and sustained attack. There are too many official cover ups and efforts focused on hiding the truth and silencing those who question. Please accept Lord Harries' amendments to the Lobbying Bill.

We must protect the right to campaign and to speak freely.

This is a terrible time to choose to stop listening and responding to the organisations and the huge numbers of people whose voices are expressed through them. We are facing a time of energy, environmental and financial crises, and diminishing democracy and losing the connection between national decision making and some of the most informed voices rich with experience on the 'front line' so to speak seems like a dreadful way to go. Let's not get gripped with fear and the need to control, but do our best to create a wiser more sustainable civilisation.

This is a worrying trend, to over-react like this.
