It is vital that charities and campaigning groups continue to have freedom of speech on important issues facing our country. We need politicians to stop and think carefully about the restrictions they are proposing.

Typical attempt by politicians to stop people who speak out against their awful policies.

o Members of the House of Lords, The Lobbying Bill would stop charities and campaigning groups from speaking out on some of the most important issues facing the country and the planet, even once recent Government changes to the Bill are taken into account. It remains an unacceptable threat to democracy and freedom of speech. We call on you to vote for Lord Harries' amendments to the Bill.

It is imperative that individuals can gather together to criticise and show discontent with government policy, and this ability must not be restricted by goovernment in the way that this bill would.

This type of interference and control in a free society is totally unnecessary and not what good government is about

Just because we have a flexible constitution does not mean that it can be used to control us!

Fully supportive of this. The Bill is not appropriate for a democratic country like the UK
