Involvement and questioning the way political decisions are made is a vital part of the democratic process. Please find a way of allowing involvement by ordinary people while limiting the influence of powerful and self-serving lobbying groups.

I am shocked by the politicians who seem to think that civil society do not have a right to speak out against injustice and destruction of our environment. This is not democracy this is dictatorship over freedom of speech and a right to be heard. There is more to life than growth and profit which is only for the few and now a threat to take away our right to speak out about things that affect us all is an abuse of democracy.
