Support changes to the Lobbying Bill

This Government and any future Government should listen to the people and not act as a dictatorship.

Abuse of the Lobbying system is wrong, but the proposed legislation may bar legitimate rights to be heard

Whilest unfair and unreasonable abuse of the facility to loby and needs to be addressed, the proposed legislation would constitiute a serious loss of democratic rights.

Benefit recipents and their supports/lobbists should not be silenced to suite the conservatives election propoganda

This Bill is an attack on the free working of democracy.

Once the right to freedom of speech has gone, we are on the slippery slope to a Police state.e

it is important that every citizen or group is able to speak out for what they believe, or we are no longer a democratic society

Bad laws are broken. This gagging law will be broken.

Please uphold our democracy.

It is important to air controversial matters as appropriate

I am relieved that some people in power have at last realised what they have been inveigled into supporting under the umbrella of Party activity. They need to read absolutely everything proposed for legislation very carefully and critically.

This is a political power grab by a government that fears organised citizens, protects corporate interests and prioritises the voices of the rich.

And this is called democracy?!

What are you afraid of hearing, the truth maybe!! One of the things this country still has is Freedom of Speech, just remember who put you where you are and who you are working for.

We need to act now to stop this threat to our freedom of speech and democracy.

The Lobbying Bill unamended will render disabled people more invisible than ever if it becomes illegal to campaign for their equal and civil rights in a society that is fast dismantling hard-won improvements to our human rights.
