This bill is discraceful and should never have got this far. Please stop it and ensure it never happens again, for the sake of democracy.

The proposed gagging law is the greatest threat British democracy has seen in modern times. It must be stopped.

If this horrendous law goes through it will turn the UK into a dictatorship not a democracy. This bill does nothing to tackle the abuse of lobbying but everything to stop legitimate opposition to questions this Tory Government does not want to answer.

This proposed bill has taken what was a simple mandate from the people to control the lobbying process and turned it into something that challenges the fundamentals of democracy.
