As a person with MS I think it is vital that our 'voice' is heard in any discussion about changes to financial support to organisations that provide help, assistance & advice and to us to enable us to lead productive lives.

We need to enable increased participation of civil society in politics. Not less. The original intent of the lobbying bill was to curb the influence of the business lobby. What happened?

Big business will always find ways of influencing government. This is a bill to silence those who do not have the power of money behind them.

Surely charities and unaffiliated campaigning groups working for and on behalf of those less able to speak-out for themselves isn't the aim of this law to restrict? We need to protect freedom of speech! So I would urge you to 100% support Lord Harries.

This Bill as it stands is a gag on democracy and is therefore shameful.

It isn't charities and unaffiliated campaigning groups that this law should restrict, but power-hungry media moguls and greedy, tax-avoiding multinationals.

We need to be able to counterblanace the policies and governance of government when they don't reflect the voice or best interests of society, those most in need , without voices or those who are raising the arguements government doesnt want to hear?

This bill is an abomination. It will only strengthen those who are corrupt, self-serving and/or incompetent at the expense of everybody else. If it passes... hello 4th Reich.
