Wrecking from the Lords undermines democracy. They are acting not on our behalf but as our "Masters." Another reason why the Lords need reform!

The Lobbying Bill seeks to deprive multiple organisations, Charities and defenders of many who disabled or have special needs of the right for free and honest expression of their democratic views. This Government has no right to stop the right to free speech. Both 'parties' joined in Coalition are minority parties and have no elected right to the actions they are proposing. This bill was not a feature of either party's election manifesto. STOP THE LOBBYING BILL.

I want Free Speech and not just what the 3 main parties think I should have. They rarely represent my views and this bill is deeply undemocratic. I also resent being labelled for supporting e-petitions: if democracy worked in this country, we wouldn't need such petitions.

Democracy incorporates Freedom OF Speech. Only DICTATORSHIPS prevent this freedom. Is Britain a Dictatorship or a Democracy, that is the question?

I fear we are loosing our democratic right and this is being done in a cross party manner. Also due to controls on the media most people are not aware of these changes that will limit organised means of protest or scrutiny by organisations expressing our democratic rights. We must not give in, give up or retreat interms of holding our elected representative accountable.
We must be careful to protect our freedom of speech, lt is the very foundation of all our freedoms.

Without democracy and freedom of speech all will be lost. Members of Lords need to very seriously keep this in mind on behalf of the people they are supposed to serve.

We cannot afford to lose this one. If we do, it will severly limit our democratic right to free speech and to make our views known through charities and other campaigns. It is reprehensible that big business should retain their lobbying rights while others lose theirs. Governemt decisions will be even more biased than they already are.
