Democracy seems to be a dirty word in Europe please do not let it die by a thousand cuts. This bill as drawn takes away yet more freedom. Support the amendments

Without Freedom to speak AND CAMPAIGN. our society's values and health is doomed. The Lobbying Bill would stop charities and campaigning groups from speaking out on some of the most important issues facing the country and the planet, even once recent Government changes to the Bill are taken into account. The whole Bill has to be rejected..

Throwing out the baby with the bath water causes untold trouble. You have to thing beyond the nose on your face! The Government seems intent on looking for their nose rather than where they are going and if this continues they will bring us as a country to the point where it will be impossible to say anything without fear of reprisal. God Help us all.

This move in itself to remove our Democratic Right to influence policy makers and have a say in how our destinies are shaped is unequivocal testament to the very reasons why we NEED to have a say in how politics/our nation is run. It is clear that those who acquired power on the Trojan horse of the “representative” democratic voting system cannot be trusted, so it is essential that we keep our beady eyes on them lest they continue to run amok like spoilt brats. By trying to force the Gagging Law into the statutory books they have lost their own argument and shown their true-blue colours. Let's hope the Lords have more integrity and are pro-democracy. Otherwise things could get very messy in this country. People will not give up their freedom (or anything) easily - basic human psychology I'm afraid...

a limit to freedom however small is still a limit. If the majority object, how is it legitimate?
