As a country,we have always been proud of freedom of speech, even when it has been controversial...It has been one of the most important aspects of being British...Why does that need to change..I do not feel it's a positive move to have a gagging law..Who is that for and Why?!!!!!

The right to freedom of speech is the cornerstone of democracy. How can Britain expect other nations to embrace the concept of free and fair elections unless we are seen to practice it ourselves. While the big corporations can always be heard simply because they have the resources to pay for it, we need to ensure that individuals and interest groups of more modest means have an equal right to participate in the democratic process, otherwise it becomes merely a plutocracy
