This bill does very little to clear up loobying praticses in the UK. Will have little to no effect on the multi-million pound budgets of huge corporate compaines trying to push their way in Goverment, but will effectivley silence the enitre voluntary and third sector from having a voice during the election period.

Blanket legislation never works when it is drafted and rushed through in haste. Look at the ridiculous Hunting Act if you want evidence. Just accept Lord Harries' amendments and if you then decide to tear the whole thing up, so much the better! We don't need legislation like this. There are nearly always regulations alrerday on the Statute Book to allow presecution for fraudulent activities anyway

The contryside is a working environment - it is not a plaything for the urban population, and must be protected, for the country way of life and business of the farming community and their love and involvement of country sports, which was deviously taken away by lies and untruths by Blair and his government. That is why one of the most important elements in a democracy, is free speech and action to stand up for your rural activities and your rural communities. The countryside will not be dictated to by any government and will fight any unjust legislation - we have had enough and will continue to LOBBY!
