Do not give up on supply management ,it is a very good tool to keep supply and demand in balance ,with no great price fluctuation.

I am not a farmer, however - I believe the supply managed system should stay. Globalization has little place in terms of ensuring food quality and saftey. That said, the dairy industry should be more innovative - for example, allowing direct sales to consumers, including of non-pasteurized raw milk.

Under supply management farmers receive their revenue from the market place not from government subsidies. Supply management works for farmers, consumers, processors and government.

mes parents étaient cultivateur et pour nourrir le Canada il faut continuer d'encourager et soutenir ses agriculteurs et d'avoir du lait de qualité

The supply management system has served the producers and consumers well , without subsidies like other countries have to do during low price periods. Any country you look at where dairy was deregulated, there has been no price decrease for the consumer. But, there has been large price decreases for producers...Lots of profit taking for processors and retailers
