I am an avocado grower from Santa Barbara County. I support AB 710 and believe avocados should be added to the list of agricultural products in your bill.

I have been in the Avocado industry for 51 years. My business sells all types of Agricultural products including pesticides. This has been such a long standing oversight.

Please sign the Petition in support of AB-710 to get AVOCADOS listed in the group of " Listed agricultural product” ones already listed are, fresh or value-added fresh apples, asparagus, bell peppers, blueberries, dates, honeydew melons, lemons, nectarines, olives, and table grapes. Only those listed will benefit from this bill. Why should avocados be left out. Let us all work towards it's passage.

Why should I as a California avocado farmer be penalized with strict environmental, labor, health, and minimum wage laws when imports don't have to.
