As a person with coeliac disease I so appreciate the services provided by Cafe Henkel when I regularly travel from Geelong to Melbourne's west. Please acknowledge the need for the use of the larger facilities and the very valuable service it provides.

What is wrong with this council? 10% of the population is coeliac! Pull your finger out and APPROVE this application. You will be surprised at what it pulls in for your area.......

One of only 2 cafes I can safely eat at since being diagnosed with Coeliac disease. The gluten free diet is a medical treatment for this disease which leaves many of us socially isolated as we cannot join in social functions centring around food (most of them!) - but not so at cafe henkel. My story is that undiagnosed coeliac disease led to recurrent miscarriages - since diagnosis, cafe henkel have fed me regularly and I now enjoy bringing in my baby boy with me to the cafe!! The first “henkel” baby!! Please pass the requested permits for this wonderful cafe and their owners/staff so that families like mine have somewhere safe to go out to eat.

It is so important for us coeliacs to have somewhere where we can feel safe to eat. So many places don't understand and we often risk getting sick. Please keep this cafe open!!

Earteries for coeliac's are few and far between, it's very comforting to enter a cafe you know you can eat anything on the menu and not have to worry about cross contamination or have a rea toon. So please let Cafe Henkel expand and continue to serve the allergy and non allergy consumers.

This cafe is the only place gf patrons can 100% relax and just enjoy food instead of worrying about cross contamination .
Council listen to ridiculous objections that have no substance.
Get a grip.

This fantastic cafe gives my 5 year old daughter the oportunity to feel normal and prevent her from experiencing symptoms such as diarrhoea, joint pain and long term risks of restricted growth, fertility issues and increased risk of stomach cancers.

As a ceoilac I was so happy And lucky to live so close to a gf cafe. No other cafe or restaurant in the area can offer me complete security that I can eat safely without getting sick. It will be sad to see this plae close and not be supported by the city council.
