I hope Bryndon's development plans will get approved! As someone who grew up in Wandering River I know that there is a need for new, fun outdoor activities. For those who don't want to invest in kayaks or tubes but would like to float down the river, this is a great opportunity for not only tourists, but all of the locals too. Many people ask if the golf course has a driving range and it doesn't not, therefore I think it would do very well. Also, for people with younger children who may not want to golf, they can try mini golf. Please reconsider his request!

Thank you anonymous for the extra signature. A couple things I'd like to point out in a friendly manner about your concerns. 1. The theft, poaching, trespassing, etc may have increased but who is to say it is the "weekend warriors"? You are always able to call Forestry and/or RCMP to voice these legit concerns and maybe they will patrol the area more. 2. Dust control is an option by your property. As far as I know, gravel roads are always dusty in the summer no matter who is driving them. 3. Yes, this business endeavor does line the owners pockets. That's why people go into business. It will also give summer jobs to the younger generation, which is great. 4. Big box gas stations??? You mean the 2 family owned and run gas stations here who only hold the name Husky and Tempo? Can't comment on 7/11. 5. This does not benefit permanent WR residents???? I'm a permanent resident raising 3 children here. This is something I will use a lot in the summer to get my kids out and doing something fun within our own community. I'm sure I'm not the only parent who would utilize this. 6. Headache? There's Advil for that.
Thank you and God Bless.

There are too many campgrounds in the area now as it is and the weekend warriors do not respect us landowners. They come for a short time, party hard and go back to fort Mac when they’re done. Theft, trespassing, poaching, damage to land/property, littering, have increased 10 fold since this area has gotten campgrounds. Seen it first hand on multiple occasions. Not to mention the dust from 99% of people who won’t slow down. If he would take the campground out of his proposal he probably would have gotten approval. Sorry but this does not improve the economy/industry in wandering river it just lines HIS pockets and creates a few extra dollars for the big box gas stations. It in no way benefits the permanent residents of wandering river but adds to the headache that’s already there. I am signing this petition just so I can write this message.

I think this should be aloud because it would give locals something to do. As there is hardly thing in Wandering River.

Alberta is a province that is built on entrepreneurial spirit! The fact that this was declined is a disappointing to me as an Albertan. This is something that is promoting Being outside, active, fun with friends and family and the smaller communities.

I support this idea 100%. What this man is trying to do will bring only good things to wandering river and the campgrounds. Please consider the positives of his ideas and don’t create negatives. Best of luck!
