I graduated from ND in 1980, my daughter graduated from ND and my son has his Management Certificate from ND's Mendoza School of Business. I applaud Bishop Rhoades for standing up to ND President Jenkins for sending a terrible message to young people everywhere. I have been fighting for the Heart and Soul of Notre Dame ever since I got here in 1976. I am an evangelical Christian who is constantly urging my Alma Mater to be more Catholic. I respect ND's Catholic heritage and am thankful for all those who are working to preserve it.

Stand for something or fall for everything! You cannot in good conscience hail a person who espouses killing innocent lives! Get a backbone and stand tall for Catholicism! Send a strong message--rescind the invitation entirely (or present it only to John Boehner). But, do not insult Our Lord with such knowingly shameful actions.

I and my family have had connections with Notre Dame and many priests there for many many years and we feel that they are as horrified as I am that the University would sink this low

Notre Adams once again gets muddied by being political in support of proabortio,. pro sodomite marriage Democrats. Joe Biden and Tef Keneddy "borked" Judge Robert Bork. Constitutionalist and protector of the unborn. He praised the Chineese who are anti humanitarian socialistic pro aborts. What's wrong with age. Jenkins in holding such a deranged "Catholic" in high esteem?
