I have 16yr textured silimed gel implants and was symptomatic. Just. Went through the surgery and I am still awaiting test results and recovering which has been terribly hard on me and very expensive.

I had Allergan 410 implants for 10 years. Developed BII and ALCL symptoms in 2017. Had them removed in 2019. BII symptoms have dissipated. I had small cell and plasma highlighted by CD30 cells. Negative for ALCL. Large cell reaction to silicon due to rupture on right side.
Better screening is needed- my rupture (tare) was not picked up in ultrasound or MRI. Thermography indicates a significant temperature difference between right and left implant. Sadly my GP or PS did not want to take those results into consideration.

Please help us to find a way for early detection for better understanding and to help ease our living in constant fear of developing BIA-ALCL from currently, or previously, having textured implants.
