We need to insure a seamless walk/bike path from Framingham to Lowell for safety and recreational reasons. Please conserve these historic rail right-of-ways for recreation for future generations. We can't afford to lose them.

The BFRT is my favorite rail trail in the region. It is such an asset to our communities, and gets better with every extension. Please help complete it asap.

This trail is a treasured addition to our community, and supports healthy outdoor recreation, saves gas for those who use it to commute, and preserves natural areas adjacent to it.

Thanks to the Boston MPO for funding earlier phases of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail and for keeping Phase 2D (Project #608164) on the Draft TIP for the appropriate construction year of FY 202!.
The BFRT has many, many state and community benefits, including safe transportation from Lowell through Concord, providing a means for bike trips instead of automobile trips, access to a variety of local merchants near the trail, health and recreation benefits of an easily accessible trail for biking, walking, strolling, skating. The funding of Phase 2D will connect the BFRT with all the other phases and will extend the many opportunities and benefits that the BFRT offers to Massachusetts citizens and visitors!

As a West Concord resident The BFRT has brought positive change to our community, convenient and safe place to walk, exercise, commute and interact. I feel more connected to my community because of this trail. Thank you, Boston MPO for funding previous Phases and keeping Phase 2D (Project #608164) on the Draft TIP for the appropriate construction year of FFY 2022.
