The media is a joke, trying to make big news!!! Keith Moore is a sore loser, he lost and should accept it, act like a man!! I think this is net picking, and Cory stepped on some toes!!! Some people want drugs and to keep people in their control!! I am proud of Cory and his team! He is doing what other so called sheriffs didn't or didn't want to do!!!!!!

Removing drugs from the streets or not, his integrity and morals are now in question! He has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States not once but twice(upon being deputized and again upon becoming Sheriff) and has broken that oath on multiple occasions if these allegations are confirmed. I know Cory personally and whole heartedly like him. I know that the data collection that he allegedly carried out was an attempt to eliminate corruption higher up the chain of command and that in doing so, he had nothing but the best of intentions for citizens of Mississippi County. With that being said, I also know that there is no place in law enforcement for operations of this such fashion. Cory is a very keen and highly intelligent man that could do(and has already done) a lot of good for that god forsaken county that I use to call home. However, this same very keen and highly intelligent man knew exactly what he was doing and that these acts are not constitutional nor upheld by written law. Because of this, I cannot bring myself to sign the aforementioned petition and wish to see him place himself on leave during the entirety of the investigation as this will allow full transparency and eliminate any further fuss or confusion. If he is found to not be guilty of the charges, he may resume his duties as Sheriff. The law is the law and a sheriff's job is to enforce it; not to make the law, nor to be above it. I hope my viewpoint is understandable and that everyone may assess the situation from the legal standpoint and not a personal one as conflicts of interest often come into play.

Cory has been cleaning up Mississippi county. I feel safe with Cory as sheriff. And I am terrified to lose him. Before came into office my prescription medication was stolen by a deputy,that same deputy over used his authority to falsely arrest me on 3 different ocassions and held me on a 24 hour hold yet bringing no charges against me. I dont feel safe if things go back that way. Cory did as he promised and has been making this community a better place. I am behind him a million % and please allow him to keep the sheriff that we elected.

Cory has done a fantastic job and is really cleaning up our community and has made it so much safer!! Please investigate these charges to the fullest and I believe the result will be really surprising of everyone involved!

I support Sheriff Hutcheson and the great job he was doing cleaning up Mississippi County. Cory was apparently making a lot of corrupt people nervous, so he had to be stopped. Its so obvious. Praying for his safety every day. He's a good man and a great law enforcement officer.
