Sticks and stones Matt. As a budding female scientist, I'd just like to say that I hope, one day, to make such a great achievement that thrusts me into an inevitable unwanted spotlight. If that happens, I'd like to borrow your shirt! Awesome tattoos by the way. I was worried about following my chosen career path because of my forearm ink, but you've inspired me. :) P.s. Some feminists are less about sex equality and more like male oppressionists.

Because of this foolish backward bigotry, I will wear shirts like the ones Matt Taylor has worn the day he was spat on the face by the bigots of our generation, jealous of the success of man who made history. I bet if he was an ordinary blue collar worker, he would not have been treated this brutally, and they accuse us men of being "intimidated" by strong and succesful women? Psshh, The third wave is riddled not only of bigotry but also of hypocrisy and pseudo-intellectualism. Andrea Dworkin's hellspawn is what I call it.

Dr. Taylor, You and your team have pushed back the frontier of science, and are expanding our understanding of the universe we inhabit. Yourself and the team you are part of stand on the shoulders of giants, and for generations of scientists to come, you will be those giants. History will remember nothing of your outfit, and all of the accomplishment, and no one can take that from you. Continue to be your own person.

I don't care if he was wearing a maids costume when he made his huge achievement. That man is absolutely brilliant. Dr. Taylor deserves admiration for what he did. It's a sad day for science when someone is judged for what they wore instead of their great accomplishments.
