"It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

Great achievement and very well done. I love the shirt too. Don't give these people any more apologies - they are ill.

Matt did nothing wrong. Nothing at all. He wore a shirt made for him by a close friend and was lambasted with hate and accusations of sexism by feminists. This is sick and wrong. He should have never had to apologize (as he did nothing wrong) and the focus should be on his accomplishments, not his manner of dress. The people lambasting him online should be ashamed. Notable feminist Jessica Valenti proudly wears a shirt prcolaiming "male tears," and that is nothing to you, but this man wearing a shirt made for him on his birthday by a female friend? Well, that's just "horrible," and apparently "keeps women out of science." Nonsense, and that statement you all so proudly shout is in fact sexist. Are women so weak, so sad and pathetic that a shirt would keep them from applying for a job with a science degree, or applying for one? How weak do you think women are? You are terrible people, and Matt, please, never apologize again because you did nothing wrong. Stand your ground and be strong. Science is based on facts, logic and demonstrable proofs, not fear, hatred and logical fallicies. Don't give in to their game, that is unscientific by definition.

Trying to ruin a man's livelihood over a shirt on what should have been one of the best days of his life is despicable.

Hey, your shirt is really cool, and you did a great thing for science. Don't let people take that away from you just because they are ridiculously easily offended.

You don't apologize to these people, you say 'I just landed a probe on a comet, I can't hear your feminist and politically correct bullshit, deal with it'. Keep landing p[robes on distant bodies.

You did a great job helping to land the probe. Humanity has made great progress because of you and feminist bullies have no right to act like they are.

Nothing wrong was done, nobody deserves to be treated like that, screw those bullies.
