Whining about a SHIRT? Really? Aside from how it was a GOOD LUCK gift by a FEMALE friend who asked him to wear it, and aside from how his bosses obviously thought it was OK, before you criticize, YOU try to land a multibillion-dollar lander on the surface of a comet moving at 130k kilometers per hour without wrecking it WHILE everything that can possibly go wrong is going wrong. The detractors don't deserve an amazing man like this, and I'm ashamed to belong to the same species as their narrow-minded selves.

You're a great man. A journalist was a victim of his own stupidity and stereotypes, do not worry. I wish you luck and your team.

Dr. Taylor and his colleagues are true heroes for all of mankind. The only disrespect was in belittling their achievements by complaining about the print on a shirt, and I hate that it's gotten to the point where I'm writing about this now instead of only praise and congratulations for the incredible work done.

I support Matt! It's sad that he was made to apologize for something that wasn't wrong.

I don't know too much about your work, but I know enough to say that the fact people can undermine your work through exploiting the fact you wore a provocative shirt is just completely ridiculous. It angers me, but I hope you keep doing what you are doing.

Best shirt I've ever seen in my life. Keep up the good work. Those paranoiac zealots with biased belief and distorted prejudice cannot smear your achievement for the humanity. Not even a single scratch. There was always group of fanatic crusaders filled with hate and anger who tries to destroy and silence the progress of science in the mankind's history. But they always failed in the end by the pioneers of reason and idea. They always tried to take over the world with their twisted code and principle but you known what? YOU are the one who always led us to the bright future, not them. They can harass your life and make you burst in tears but they can never, never disgrace your desire for discovery. History will judge us. So have a faith, don't stop now, don't hesitate and keep carry on, for god's sake. And the next time they try to manipulate and torture your life, remember that we are stand right next to you and will always support you. And thank you.

You have done so much more than what most of your critics have done. To overlook you and your team's achievement just because you wore the wrong shirt is merely an act of moral superiority, and jealousy even. I'll say, go on with your work and do your best to continue on, don't let several hundred prudes stop what knowledge you can damn well benefit everyone for mellenia to come. Wear what you wanted, they are not the ones who landed that craft on a comet, you do. You and your collegues advanced technology as we know it, so I believe you deserve to wear what you want...they are not paying you nor do they benefit you in anyway.

People just LOVE attacking other people anonymously on the internet, especially if those people are achievers with the ability to express themselves through their clothing....As someone who used to design clothing, I can commend this man's individuality. Maybe the Feminists who object to his shirt should just buy themselves and each other some nice, grey, sexless,jumpsuits for their very own 1984 Dystopia Lifestyle and leave the rest of us in peace. Some people are so craven, weak and jealous, they can't help themselves and instinctively lash out at someone who made his mark on history, which is something they will never do and deep down, they know it. Ask yourselves, do you think there would have been any backlash if this individual had been a butch lady with the same shirt? Of course not. This is pure ressentiment.. Just a howl of hatred from part of the seething mass of expendables who have never been or done anything and never will. Yes, I'm talking about YOU, second-wave Feminists.
