He shouldn't have had to say sorry for his choice in shirts. Choosing what clothes you wear is basically freedom of expression (something that the feminists use a lot) and he shouldn't have to apologise if he offended a very small minority of people

Columbus, Magellan, Lindbergh, Gagarin, Armstrong. Matt Taylor should be added to this list for doing something no one has ever done before him in the name of exploration. Along with a lot of other unsung heroes. Because that's what they are. HEROES!

He did an amazing thing for the betterment of our scientific knowledge of the universe and it's just rude that they are trying to slander his reputation because of his choice of shirt.

Accomplishments should always mean more than clothing. This is a day to remember due to the accomplishments of a brilliant team of scientists, not because a shirt showing cartoon boobies. People need to grow up.

Hey man, sorry for what that group has done to you. As a female myself I have to say they do not speak for me. I also see your shirt as being as offensive as tattoos of pin-up girls which many women sport, that is to say I don't find offensive at all. This whole debacle was ridiculous and just shows that some people just have a victim complex and want to make everything be about themselves. Just keep in mind that there are people put there appreciating you and your team for what you've done and they couldn't care less about a shirt with sexy space ladies.

Dude please don't apologise to any more of these hate mongers, what you did was one of the most amazing things in recent history, you did more in one day than what they could do in their entire life.

As a woman I'm insulted by the idea that I am too much of a fainting wallflower to be exposed to what someone else thinks is a sexist shirt, and I would run crying hysterically from the room and give up my dreams of working in STEM. This stereotype of women as eternal helpless passive victims - ironically, perpetuated much more by feminists than anyone else - is far more sexist than any shirt.

Someone who achieved what you achieved, with the sheer skill and passion with which you achieved it, shouldn't even deign himself to apologize to f-grade people writing on z-grade blogs for something as trivial as a (honestly pretty vanilla) shirt. As Dr. Johnson put it; "A fly, Sir, may sting a stately horse and make him wince; but, one is but an insect, and the other is a horse still".
