Who cares about a shirt? People need to get over other people's fashion preferences and look at what the person has done for humanity.

Your accomplishments will be remembered far longer than anything these 'journalists' will say about you. Chin up, Matt, you have made an excellent contribution to mankind. Anyone who tries to discredit that based on a shirt you own is a discredit to our species. Keep on keeping on, friend.

My biology teacher told me that doctors deserve all the respect they get for what they put in to become one. This goes even further when a doctor is part of a team that put a man made object on a comet billions of miles away. As such, the treatment of Doctor Taylor over a the shirt that he wore is on the opposite spectrum of human intelligence. It's in the area of pure retardation, and those that caused this should be ashamed. I am also disappointed that none of Doctor Taylor's team defended him, but I understand that may be from fear of getting abuse themselves. That is not how anyone should live. Matt, keep on bringing your own personality to the cold areas of science and truth. Many forget that scientists are humans at the end of the day, and that not every workplace has to be a hugbox. Don't change just because some idiot on the internet with no concept of respect called you names. Good luck to yourself and your team in your future endeavours.

Dude is a badass nerd and got hate from idiots for something that is as innofensive as possible. He should rescind his apology, and get recognition for being awesome instead.

Dr. Taylor: congratulations on your spectacular accomplishment. I am deeply sorry that a coven of small-minded people chose to ruin your glorious day. It was a lovely and classy gesture to wear that shirt on your most important day, to honor the friend who made it for you. You have my respect and admiration.

If you think that shirt is sexist then you're a tool.

Feminists only have as much power as Men are willing to cede to them and I think now would be a pretty good time to stop giving in to their ridiculous and quite pointedly misandric demands. Congratulations on your groundbreaking accomplishment Dr Taylor and I hope you feel better knowing that none of this bs has in any way diminished our respect for your contribution towards advancing the future of mankind. Cheers :)

You, sir, achieved an accomplishment bloggers and bullies can't even dream of matching. Their worldview doesn't extend beyond the borders of their social media profiles while yours reaches the stars and inspires people all over the planet.

First and foremost I would like to congratulate you and the team for what you have achieved so far on the Rosetta mission. The way some people have jumped on you for displaying your personal style is disgraceful and something I too have had to deal with. As far as I'm concerned you have done nothing wrong and if anything the people who have lambasted are the real sexist. Keep up the good work Matt

Probably not the most spiffy choice of shirt but not offensive either.
