Your shirt is awesome. Your beard is awesome. You landed a rover on a space rock hurtling through space with the plan to shoot it with a god damn harpoon. That's awesome. On a scale of 1 to Manly as hell, you're at roughly "Suplexed a Bear" levels of awesome manliness.

What you have accomplished is something amazing and to be proud of. Not only have you helped further space exploration but you've done something huge for the human race as a whole. You do in no way deserve any kind of backlash and hate for wearing a shirt some people don't like. I believe your friend must've been really happy too see her shirt at such a big moment and that is a great gesture on your part. All in all I just want to say that I'm really proud of you, you've done something great. And I'm really sorry that you had to go through something like that just because so many people are ridiculously easy to offend. Keep doing what you're doing, I will be rooting for you.

I read somewhere a while back, quote, "He CHOSE to wear a shitty, stupid shirt to a huge event he knew would be recorded. He made his bed and has to lay in it. No sympathy. Seriously though what the fuck did he think would happen? Someone at the place should've told him to change because he's also representing his team and the mission and THAT is what he decided was appropriate. Again, no sympathy." Feminists rage that saying that a woman deserved un-consensual sex because of what she was wearing, and here we see a rabid feminazi saying he deserved the shit he got because of what he was wearing.

Dr. Matt Taylor, I regret the bad experience you have had, you are a senior scientist, but we live in a crucial development or scientific backwardness time. The Gender Ideology has been fueled globally with an aim of reducing population growth. Their goal is to undermine heterosexuality. Its ideological pillars are lesbo feminism and Marxism. There is a war against the heterosexuality and you are a new victim. They are using you for political purposes: to show that heterosexual men are sexually evil and violent towards women. The objective is propaganda for Gender Ideology and the radical feminism. I suggest you read the books "Who Stole Feminism" and "The Myth of Male Power", and I recommended you to visit the page of avoiceformen. I'm a male rights activist and I'm with you.

Dr. Matt Taylor, I just want you to know that you are wonderful! Your accomplishment and the accomplishment of the others on Rosetta Team was amazing, inspiring. I think, quite frankly, that you kick ass. And as a woman (who is pro equality for everyone) that I also love your shirt. It says nothing to me about what you think of women, and it was heartbreaking to me that the landing was pushed aside over something minor as a shirt. Rock on.

You deserve far more than what you got, you have opened the eyes of many out there to the BS that is being cried about. You made more progress for mankind alongside that amazing feat!

Heil Victory. Death to the feminist movement. These filthy man-ape forms of women have no reasonable say.

You are an inspiring leader in the field of science Matt. Your brazen boldness to place a washing-machine sized object on a distant body shows many young men and women how if we take the necessary steps we can achieve our own dreams, and the sky is clearly no limit, much less some mythical glass ceiling. To you and your colleages both male and female who made this happen, thanks. And nevermind the vain attention-seekers and political agendists who denounce you superficially for what you chose to wear that day. Their criticisms failed to launch. Have a laugh at their expense for history will do the same.

This is completely unfounded behavior with know basis in the quality of output this individual can produce. Rather it is a reaction from an isolated vein of society that is apparently incredibly subservient to the media above human rights.

Much love (but I wish you hadn't felt the need to apologize to those irrational harpies. Standing firm is the way to go). I'm digging up a similar shirt to wear in honour of you (it's of the same style I've worn for over a decade - several friends commented that's my kinda shirt when this story broke!). Don't feel the need to bend before those who would tear you down to make themselves feel better. All respect to you and for your incredible accomplishments.

Don't let a bunch of overly-sensitive people devalue something so overwhelmingly impressive.

This man made a great accomplishment that no one else will be able to do for years......... to bad he was wearing the wrong shirt that day? His accomplishment should't have been overshadowed by a stupid shirt.

I can't believe feminists of all people are judging someone by their clothing and not their achievements.
