I don't know if Matt will ever see this, but let me say: Matt, you are a great man. You have done what no other human being has ever done before. You are truly a pioneer. Let that sink in, NO ONE has ever done what you have. This out pour of hate against you is unwarranted. In fact, it is because of you that I am again considering a STEM career. With everyone that hates you because of your attire, there are a million more who would happily wear it. We all stand with you. You have nothing to apologize for. Matt, you should only be proud of what you've done. Again, not only have you done something amazing, the amount of butthurt that you've caused over a shirt is glorious. Never stop, just do what you do.

I'm a female developer, and I'm a huge amateur enthusiast of astronomy and physics. They say your shirt is sexist, I say it's completely ignorant of them to ignore your accomplishment because of a TShirt. Take it from a lady - it ain't sexist. They're looking for a reason to be upset.

A brilliant scientist shouldn't be bullied by hysterical, oversensitive professional victims. Sexy is not sexism. Making art of and looking at the beauty of human body is not offensive. People fought for this right for centuries, against religious and state censorship of "indecent" art - and now feminists want to take it away from us? That's crazy.
