Matt, I am a sixty four year old woman, I hold degrees in IT cmputing and business and retired from a very senior position at a top University. I consider myself a lifelong feminist. I see absolutey nothing wrong with your shirt, I like it all the more having read the story behind it. I am so sorry that your great moment was spoiled by this stupidity. My very best to you.

These are say days when monumental achievements such as this are overshadowed by clothes worn. I've had the honor and joy of working with plenty of women during my science(s) education, none who would even bat an eye compared to what was achieved.
