I love that shirt, the tatoos, the beard and the smile of a man who has done History. Everyone must dress and be what he likes and makes him feel good. An Italian Writer says "the wise point the comet, the fool look at the shirt"

You did something no one else has. Do not fret over the ramblings of those that would tear you down over the pettiest of things. Brilliant work Matt - real, historic, worthy stuff; a generation of kids will want to become scientists after what you and your team have done; some may also want to be like the 'guy with the cool tats and shirt', as you've shown them that the world of science isn't inhabited by the dull! Unfortunately our society has become a blame rather than a praise culture. I saw no offence, only joyful exuberance. Continue to reach for the stars; we're all behind you!
