Hi there Dr. Matt Taylor! I am awed by your and your teams accomplishments. You did what no one has ever done before and it is also a great scientific achievement. You do job what other people can just dream off, myself included but I am jealous in a good way. You are the kind of scientist I look up to. And you also show that a scientist can know how to look, act and otherwise be cool as well. As a future psychologist I can also tell that the shirt clearly is important gift from your lady friend that you specifically chose to wear on this very special important day. The backlash you got is unwarranted. Stay strong, stay the way you are because you are cool human being.

These small minded people need to step back and take look as the bigger picture, the amazing achievements of a young scientist. He is a great role model for young people who are thinking of also following there dreams of space exploration. Good job Dr Matt and long may you continue to follow your dreams and encourage the future young scientist.

I cant say how pleased i am that someone with tats an awesome beard and the guts to wear that shirt has made so great an achievement and done it without comprimising his own integrity to society norms. Ps. If that shirt becomes available on amazon i want one.

What you guys did was amazing, and to have one of the greatest accomplishments of your life stripped away like that is sickening. Judging you for what you wore, that's a big double standard. If someone is discouraged from you wearing a shirt is dumb, and they lack any motivation. Don'tlet these extremists bring you to tears like that, enjoy your accomplishment because they never will.
