Dr. Taylor, it is truly an honor to be able to even write something that you might see. You have accomplished such an amazing thing, you've brought the human race into the future. PLEASE, PLEASE, don't let the hateful, hurting people who are trying to pass off their pain on you make you feel bad. You are more than your fashion choices, and for these people to be saying these hateful things and saying you deserve it is wrong. They are WRONG. You do NOT deserve to be treated this way. They don't get to steal your moment. You shouldn't have to apologize for your clothes. (By the way, I LOVE that shirt. You look wonderful in it.) Please don't let them spoil your moment. Please don't believe the awful things they're saying. Hold your head up, love. They're just hateful, hurt people, and you don't have to take that on.

You, sir, are a man among men. You shouldn't feel bad about anything that these people have tried to tar and feather you for. You and your colleagues' work will stand in the halls of human achievements, while your detractors' will not. Stay strong

Keep your awesome work man, you did an impressive feat and many people are impressed by it, do not pay attention to the loud minority, the silent majority is behind you.

As was said before, the media focused on the things they could understand, you have done something truly amazing.

Don't worry. The majority of people don't care what the hell you wear. Just remember, the chain of intelligence goes like this: You>Normal people>the feminazis who have been fucking with you. Keep kicking ass.

Well I would like to say something profound about how people who actively pursue their dreams are a tremendous inspiration to the rest of us. I would like to highlight the fact that most people only ever pursue a goal of this complexity, and that few ever get close to realizing it. But you already know how difficult it was and what an incredible accomplishment it is for the scientific community. Nobody can take that away from you because YOU SUCCEEDED. The success of others tends to bring out the best and the worst of people. What happened is simple, you are important and those other people are not. They know this and they hate it. So instead of furthering their own lives they tried to take your accomplishment away or make it less special. You probably know this (on some level) you are a smart man and I’m not self-centered enough to think that I am the first one to point this out. TL;DR You made history they are jealous and can’t handle your awesomeness.

You were part of a landmark moment in space exploration history and nothing can overshadow that accomplishment. PS I like the shirt and thought it was a nice gesture to wear a gift that a friend made on such an important occasion.

Yes one look at that shirt and hordes of young women are going to jump into demeaning jobs. His reaction tells me he is a compassionate person unlike the twits who wrote that article. I mean I that it was a humor column. I think the article.demeans women a lot more than the shirt does. Grow up for God's sake and grow a spine. And get to me counseling.

Dr Matt Taylor, you should proud of your accomplishment on November 12th 2014. Dismiss the comments about the shirt your wore that day as the moronic rambling of a few lunatics that will never do anything useful in their lives. I wish for history to remember you for the Rosetta mission and I wish you many more success in your future endeavours. Go on mate, hold your head high and be proud!

Keep up the good work. You shouldn't care about those feminazis, who would like you to get under trouble, just because you wore a silly shirt. They will never acomplish things as big and as astonishing as you. Dont feel down. You are a great man.

I can't believe that there has been such a backlash over such a minute thing. Matt, you are an absolutely amazing scientist, and you deserve to be remembered for your incredible accomplishments, instead of such an over-reaction by a small corner of the internet over you apparently "sexist" shirt (A shirt which I think is awesome.) Wish you all the best, and I hope you go on to achieve even greater things.
