It is infuriating to see this massive accomplishment turned into click bait by dime-a-dozen writers who could only hope to accomplish 1/100th of what this person has.

I was in rage when I read the stupid Verge article. I showed it to my GF and now she wants to buy me a similar shirt.

On watching the news the day this probe landed all I could think was 'what an awesome shirt'. Usually all you see are super geeky scientists - with matt you saw a real person, an inspiration and a guy who should be immensely proud of himself - shirtgate shouldn't over shadow his incredible achievement.

Situations like this one are a perfect example for why lots of modern feminists (Note: Not all of them) are suffering from immense stupidity.

The whole outrage ist just ridiculous. Keep wearing that shirt, and don't let some jackasses win. You can be proud of what you achieved for humanity.

I am a feminist and female. I also love science and support the furthering space exploration. Your shirt didn't offend me. And if it had, I'd still have been smart enough to realize it shouldn't overshadow your awesome accomplishment for the betterment of humanity (I doubt Chris Plante can say the same). I am ashamed to share a last name with that writer. Don't regret anything. Thank you for your work in science.

the guy's a genius and he sniped a fucking comet, him and his achievement should be celebrated all over the world, not abused for his choice of clothing
