When it's a woman that decides to photograph herself naked it's fine but this is degrading??? i do not find this shirt offensive at all and we should be focusing more on his amazing accomplishments, not a shirt

You landed an incredibly high-tech piece of equipment launched just over 10 years ago on a comet moving fast as hell, and you wanted to show your friend how much you loved their shirt that you wore it on one of the biggest days of your life. You're an awesome representation for scientists and engineers everywhere, showing that it IS possible to work with incredibly life- and world-changing projects and not be boring, wearing white collared shirts and ties. Keep doing what you’re doing, and don’t EVER wear a boring shirt when you’re on camera announcing your next giant leap for mankind. Good luck with your next project :D

Dear Matt Taylor, you're a fucking rock star! I'm not a scientist, I took Philosophy at uni but I can see that you are one of the brightest people on the Earth in terms of intelligence and worth, you have helped contribute to potentially the survival of the Human race and a better state for our planet. I imagine you have thousands of these comments and I do hope you read this one, I discussed this whole shirt thing with my friends, male and female and all of them unanimously said that they would not be put off by joining a scientific field of study, although we also collectively agreed that the shirt made us question your fashion sense as a bit iffy, sorry! I'm sure that anyone that knows will you probably be like 'Classic Matt', or something similar. I have a friend called Dan with a t-shirt that says 'Dyslexics of the world untie.' It's hilarious and makes me chuckle everytime I see it but he would probably be dragged over the coals for it, which is ridiculous, he's the nicest guy ever and the fact that you had to apologise and were clearly emotional about it I think proves that you're a top guy too. Ironically, he also discovered he was dyslexic about 6 months after he bought the top. Either way, the shirt may be a bit garish but the simple fact that people are focusing on THAT being a barrier to entry, and focusing on demeaning the achievements of you and by extension, that of your colleagues is ludicrous and unfair. Please, don't ever stop doing what you do, you matter, you have achieved amazing things, and I am confident will continue to achieve great, amazing and spectacular things that everyone can benefit from.
