I want to say thank you for being so completely awsome. When I heard about the mission, I waited to see what would happen. Then there was the news that maybe the landing was botched since the harpoons didn't launch properly, and I was really nervous. I am so glad that you and your team were able to work so hard, and accomplish so much, and I can't wait to hear what else your group accomplishes as time goes on. I also think that your friend did a great job designing that shirt, no matter what some people may say. :) You shouldn't have ever had to apologize for wearing it. Stay awesome. -Catherine

Amazing science being done by an amazing team, each team member adding their own skills and personality to make this incredible project a success. These are the people whose names are writ large in human history, not the professionally-offended nobodies who contribute nothing yet somehow manage to say even less. You are the inspirational characters who highlight the best of the human race and we're glad people like you have the intelligence and perseverance to make the impossible a reality.

And for every one screaming about how 'unwelcome' your shirt makes someone feel, there are dozens of people, young men and women (and other, please specify) who will never lose the inspiration the first photo from the surface of a comet has given them. You've shown a new generation of scientists that our reach doesn't end at the atmosphere in a way they'll never forget. Be proud. Be so very proud, Dr. Taylor, of what you've helped humanity do.
