To Doctor Taylor, I can only apologize on behalf of the piles of mucus and cartilage masquerading as human beings, who saw fit to tarnish both his moment of personal triumph and a pinnacle of scientific endeavor. Shame on them, if they are indeed capable of feeling it. I beg you, Dr. Taylor, to forget all the negativity, and those from whom it spewed, and to wear your shirt whenever you please. Do so with pride, sir – you helped humanity take one of its first fragile steps into the cosmos while wearing it.

I'm sorry that instead of moving forward, western women now judge people. Matt Taylor accomplished something huge and this should not be how he's treated because of some piece of clothing.

Keep being awesome! You landed a probe on a comet in space, nobody cares what a few people down here think about your shirt. They are looking to stars at your work!

The wonder is, not that the field of stars is so vast, but that men - like Matt Taylor - has measured it.

You and the team you work with have truly done something incredible, I am sorry that this achievement was belittled by small minds that only feel good about themselves when they tear people down. The apology you made was unneeded, you have done nothing wrong and everything right. You worked hard to get where you are, you passionately applied yourself to a cause that will help shape the future, you should be proud of yourself.
