As others have already pointed, this man has done more for humanity than the vast majority of his critics. The extravagant display of opportunistic sexist bigotry that is being played out over Matt Taylor is repugnant, and it needs to stop.

Dear Dr Matt Taylor, i am 50 yrs old, i was too young to remember or perhaps appreciate the Appollo Missions which made, not just scientific history, but world history i am so lucky to be alive to witness your absolutely historic scientific achievement. if it were not for men of your calibre, we would still be throwing rocks at animals i congratulate you sir on your phenomenal achievement so SOD OFF to the lame heart's that criticize your shirt, you are an amazing scientist and i salute you for that
