Support Amendment to Springfield Township Zoning Code
The first of these changes is the inclusion of thefollowing permitted uses within the Industrial District:
• Administrative offices, accessory office buildings, contractor's offices and storage yards, public or governmental uses, scientific or industrial research, self-storage facilities, and trade or professional schools.
The second is the creation of a Limited Industrial Zoning District for
properties that are adjacent to residentially utilized or zoned properties. This district would include the following permitted uses:
• Scientific or industrial research; administrative or business offices; public or governmental utility buildings or uses; printing or publishing facilities, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, processing and packing plants except for processes specifically prohibited under sec. 114-12C2; contractor's office and storage; trade or professional schools; administrative offices accessory to a permitted use.
• Prohibited uses for the Light Industrial District under sec. 114-12C2 will be revised to include: Transportation services, including the keeping or storage of passenger or school buses, limousines or taxi cabs.
