I suffer with copd, fibromyalgia, thyrid disease, neropathy chronic pain. I am currently on 4 pain pills aday just to be able move around, go to the bathroom wash dishes etc. If I smoke marijuana I am able to not take pain pills, not take attivan for panic attacks fom lac of oxygen, I function can go out side help with my grand childen and great grand child, walk my dog etc. Why not let me decide what medications I am taking, who are you to try and tell me what to put in my body, and side effects from my legal medications are far worse than the marijuana side effects, which havent been found in my 54 yrs of exprience 40 yrs of which I smoked, oh and the copd is from working in a sock mill and smoking cigarettes, and even tho my family has a very strong record of cancer neither me or my brother who again has smoked for years have eve had it while ae other 5 bothers and sisters have had brushes with different kinds of these cances

My daughter(30yrs. old) has multiple sclerosis and is very weak. She has the worst kind of m.s. it has damaged her legs. She is in a wheelchair and we honestly dont think she will ever walk again. She also now suffers from depression and anxiety because of the m.s. I give her rebiff injections at home 3 times a week. The shots make her even weaker. She has terrible muscle spasms. Her feet and legs are very very swollen. She has a lot of joint pain and severe headaches. Also extreme tirdness and confusion and sometimes disoriented and has trouble focusing. She doesnt have a lot to look forward to. Medical cannibus would definately help her .Cannibus is also an anti inflammatory. It is a shame that she cant have access to it in Alabama due to the fact that it is not legal here for medical use. She has a lot of different symptoms that cannibus would definately help her. Please let medical cannibus be legal here. There are so many people here who need it. Please dont let these people be forced to do without something that could help them that is just wrong. Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about her.

I have several family members who could benefit highly from the use of medical marijuana. From cancer to chronic illness, their quality of life would improve greatly if they had access to treat their diseases with this miracle medicine. Alabama needs this. People's lives depend on it.

My spouse has Autism Spectrum Disorder and Schizo-Affective Disorder. I believe this would really help him feel more normal, instead of anxious or zombified (as most other medication does.
