If marijuana had been legalized before now my dad would still be here, there are so many people suffering from different illnesses that if it remains illegal those who are suffering will parish. Be smart for once Alabama, save the millions counting on this bill to pass. We Alabamians refuse to let you control us any longer. It's time for a change so make it happen because only you can say yes and it passes. Don't let this state down again. I suffer from fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, bipolar, extreme tremors, chronic fatigue and chronic pain. I was addicted to pain pills for 15 years and have been clean for 14. I have used marijuana in the past to control these multiple problems, always with the fear of arrest. I have Bipolar 2 and I have to take a handful of pills everyday. I know that medical mairijua will help with the mood swings and my inability to function in a normal atmosphere. Please pass this bill so the people who need it can get better.

My personal reasons why I'd like to see this bill passed are my struggles with depression, chronic (severe) pain due to degenerative disc disease, arthritis, bursitis in my hips, & anxiety. Narcotic pain pills do not give me full relief & they have bad side effects. I'd love to have access to a medicine that is not addictive, relieves my pain entirely, is not lethal, & has no bad side effects. This plant has so many various uses for every person that it would be a shame not to utilize what nature is trying to give us. Please pass this bill so we can end the suffering of so many.

Medicine docters prescribe these days just kill you slowly allowing yu to ignore the pain for a lil bit. almost all side affects are death or something really bad. Marjuiana on the other hand makes you feel great with zero side affects. enough said.

Denial of medical marijuana is political barbarism and shameful. May their own family members not be strickened with brain cancer (like my mom) or severe Epilepsy (like a dear friend that found life with epilepsy so hopeless, she committed suicide).
