People are people! So what should they be? Life's too short. Stop the h8.

Mother of 3, that has her children's best interest for their wellbeing! Being different and unique is what is my main focus for them to grow to be strong healthy individuals!

All human beings should be free to follow their hearts and heads. Sexual identity, gender identity, sexual orientation...these things are inextricably woven into a person's psychology. You might suppress expression of a specific behavior, but you are not going to change one of these fundamental aspects of human psychology and are likely to scar the person for life by leaving them confused, rejected, and dysfunctional. There are things we ought to accept and sexuality is one of those.

Reparative therapy that aims to "repair" our children that are transgender, as if they were broken in the first place, is not the way to help our gender diverse children grow to be emotionally healthy adults with self confidence and a strong sense of self esteem. These children are not "broken" and do not need to be changed from their transgender orientations. Sharon S. Fagin, Ph.D.
