The Christmas issue isn’t as important to me, I couldn’t care either way. But open transparency and honesty is vital to keeping relationships good between a school district and its families. If something this small cannot be discussed in honest, open, two way, dialog - what happens when something really big needs to be sorted through? Let’s set the precedent and be open with each other. Although I suspect the only thing that’s being hidden is the district saying something behind closed doors about Mrs. Johnson and the hope to “show her who’s in charge” in a ridiculous power struggle. But I could be wrong.

People in her position need to not make decisions that affect the values and morals we try to instill in our kids and then hide it! It offends me to no end that she can tell our kids that sayin Christmas in a bad thing! The superintendent needs to stay in her lane!

There should be no cost to receive public records when requested. After all if they are public our tax dollars pay for and the handling and safe keeping of said records.
