Support A New Crosswalk to keep Redlands Students Safe

Students need to stay safe!

We soooo need this

This street is not safe for crossing for our students. There is significant space between the only 2 stop signs. Cars come around a curve quickly from Ford.

I always want children to be safe

Time for a cross walk and a stop light!

This is so needed! Fifth Avenue is difficult to cross and has high speed traffic.

I fully support this petition for the safety of the students at Moore Junior High. I live next door to Moore on Redlands Street and have witnessed an enormous amount of drivers go through the stop signs at the intersection of Redlands St./Lincoln and Highland St. without any regard to students waiting to cross at the corners. I can imagine how challenging it is to cross the street from Marion Rd. and 5th St. Traffic is typically heavy there on a regular basis and drivers can easily be distracted or un-attentive. Let's not wait until we have a serious injury or fatality.

Need crossing guards of light at Lincoln and Citrus like they have at other Redland schools. I have waited for my kids near the intersection and witnessed my kids have been walking in the crosswalk when drivers don’t pay attention and have come close to hitting them. I have called and reported this many times with no luck.

I know McKinley personally needs a crosswalk guard by Olive Market corner they need a stop sign there as well I've called the city about it I've complained other parents have complained children have been hit people have tried to run them over they don't listen to The Crossing cards today I witness somebody entering the intersection while children were crossing with the cross walker we need speed bumps to slow down cards and more cross guards.

Used to pick up grandkids once in awhile... crosswalk is needed.

Students need this cross walk.
