Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Vidya Kabadi. I live in the section 13 of Seven Meadows Community. I have been a resident in this community since 2007 (11 years). Please help me to support this petition to fight against our HOA (Seven Meadows Home Owners Association) to start the Home-Based Day Care and After-School service our neighborhood kids with Pick-Up and Droff-Off included. I will be meeting with the HoA on September 27th at 6.00 pm to request them to re-consider my application. I am confident that with your support I will be able to do this.

I have learnt that as school began after summer session many families in the neighborhood are struggling to keep up with the school schedules and picking up kids after the school from bus stops and campuses. Hence, here is where I felt that I could contribute and make a difference. I would really like to help our community families by opening a Home-Based After School Child Care Service.

I will be supporting only the children from K-13 yrs. in the beginning. These kids will typically belong to only these schools in our neighborhood.

I have already discussed with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to work on the registration to list my home as a Child Care Service Home (pending HoA approval).

We, the undersigned would like to request to grant permission to open this home based care center. Through our signatures we request HoA to realize that there is a real need in our community for an "after-school program" where the child feels like he is back home and safe, allowing them to read and relax, and complete their day's work to allow more quality time with parents in the evening. Here are some of the concerns that the answers have already been provided to HoA.

• How am I going to contribute to the community?
• How many Kids are going to be at the Home Based After School program?
• What time will the kids be dropped at home by their parents/families?
• How do I plan to provide a transportation?
• For how long will the kids be present on the premises?
• How many days will this Child Care Service operate?
• What additional services am I offering at this location?
• How will the neighborhood be affected by my business?
• How will I guarantee the safety of the children at my home?

  • Do I have an active security alarm system in my house?
  • Do I have smoke detectors in each room?
  • Do I have a carbon monoxide detection system at my home?
  • Have I taken the necessary certification for safety of children?
  • Do I have the First Aid/AED devices at home?
  • Are there any other monitoring systems at my house?
